TEDESCHI TRUCKS BAND
Let Me Get By (2016)
To their third album, the ten-member group, led by Derek Trucks and his wife Susan Tedeschi, proves excellent compositional maturity and interpretative skills.
The record that inaugurates 2016 (in fact it was officially released on January 29th), is not just the ideal continuum of "Relevator" (2011) and "Made Up Mind" (2013), but it emphasizes the gaiety and completeness of his writing style which made "Let Me Get By" the best album of the band which started in 2010 in Jacksonville (Florida, United States).
Strong and persistent tracks alternate with more reflexive and inspiring ones: all of them, anyway, dominated by Tedeschi's sharp voice and robust guitar and by the fervent guitar slide mastered by Trucks.
