Warren Haynes get his fans accustomed to unique collaborations and record productions. But the album made in collaboration with the group Railroad Earth has floored most of the fans of the guitarist native of Asheville (capital city of Buncombe County, in North Carolina).
"Ashes & Dust" probably sounds more like an album of the Railroad Earth band rather than of Warren Haynes, however both musicians are not really involved by this aspect of "paternity" of the work. The result (and that's what matters) is an intense album in which sharp acoustic atmospheres adorn every single moment of "Ashes & Dust".
