Although the singer-songwriter Kim Richey has released several successful albums bearing her name, she is, perhaps, more renowned for her composing skills. Kim Richey has released the amazing album “Edgeland” (five years after her previous album entitled “Thorn In My Heart: The Work Tapes”).
Twelve tracks in the tipping point between noble country music (Richey’s main genre of reference) and a refined example of the “American” genre.
“Edgeland” features some extremely talented guest performers: Robyn Hitchcock, Pat McLaughlin and Chuck Prophet, this latter is also the co-author of four songs (in collaboration with the leading performer on the album).
