ANDERS OSBORNE
Buddha And The Blues (2019)
Anders Osborne was born in Sweden (in Uddevalla, in 1966), raised in the United States, musically influenced by the typical sounds of New Orleans and has always maintained a high profile ever since his first artistic steps. But “Buddha And The Blues” (recorded, unlike most previous discs, not in Louisiana but in California) is an album with a unique charm.
Delicate sounds (to tell the truth, not very consistent with the blues mentioned in the CD’s title), excellent vocal interpretation, tracks with a soft composition (like the splendid “Fields Of Honey” and “Aching For You Love” above all) make “Buddha And The Blues” one of the most seductive albums released in 2019.
