Rose Avenue is one of 2019’s most pleasant “surprises”. Its creator, Joel Rafael, manages to charm the listener for all of the CD's 37 minutes, with highly-refined and unusually pleasant compositions.
Rose Avenue confirms the collaboration between the American singer-songwriter and Jason Mraz. The latter is also present as co-writer of several tracks on the disc (as in the case of the terse “Under Our Skin”).
