“Kingfish”, produced by Tom Hambridge (album directed by Susan Tedeschi, Buddy Guy, Delbert McClinton, Johnny Winter, etc.), is the excellent “first work” of young guitarist (he was born in Clarksdale, Mississippi State, in 1999) Christone Ingram, nicknamed Kingfish.
He also appeared in an episode of the US television series “Luke Cage”, interpreting two songs entitled “The Thrill Is Gone” and “I Put A Spell On You”, the burly guitarist has the opportunity to present (thanks to the prestigious record label Alligator, based in Chicago ) 12 tracks of torrential blues.
Keb’ Mo’ plays alongside Ingram (in the racy track “Listen”), as does Buddy Guy (in “Fresh Out”).
