DREW HOLCOMB AND THE NEIGHBORS

Dragons (2019)

With the release of 2015's Medicine (already a rockpartyshow RECOMMENDEDALBUM) and especially 2017's Souvenir (selected as a rockpartyshow SUPERRECOMMENDEDALBUM), discerning audiences began to sit up and take notice of musician Drew Holcomb.
A native of Memphis (Tennessee, USA), Holcomb debuted on the record market in 2003 with the mini-album Lost And Found.
Together with his trusty band The Neighbors and his wife Ellie Bannister, he released the excellent Dragons in August 2019 (under Nashville label Thirty Tigers), an album with ten pleasingly-crafted tracks that splendidly balance noble folk, luxurious pop, keen singer-songwriter intuition, and a hefty dose of the “Americana” genre.
Produced by Cason Jay Cooley (an American engineer, composer, singer-songwriter, musician, and producer), Dragons features appearances from Brooklyn band The Lone Bellow, Natalie Hemby (a successful country music writer for Miranda Lambert, Toby Keith, and Little Big Town, among others, as well as a member of The Highwomen), Lori McKenna, and his wife Ellie.
