For Cordovas’ 2020 record, “Destiny Hotel”, those references return to the fore, with names cropping up like: Little Feat, New Riders Of The Purple Sage, The Allman Brothers Band, The Eagles, and even The Grateful Dead. Comparisons aside, the music of this Nashville quartet, led by bassist, singer, and composer Joe Firstman, is a bundle of thrilling sounds wrapped up in a smooth country-rock style.
