Mainly working in the area of New Orleans since its foundation in 2003, the band Dumpstaphunk has won over the public and music critics thanks to their explosive blend of R&B, rock, blues, funk and instrumental improv, mainly in their packed live shows.
Their album "Where Do We Go From Here" (officially launched on 23rd April 2021) concentrates all the energy of their live shows in just 11 tracks (and just over an hour of music in total): Ivan Neville (vocals, keyboard and founder of the band), the two bass players and singers Tony Hall and Nick Daniels III, Ian Neville (solo guitar), Deven Trusclair (drums), Alex Wasity (trombone) and Ryan Nyther (trumpet) create a real "wall of sound" boasting a catchy, sprung rhythm.
And as if such a compact group was not enough, "Where Do We Go From Here" also features energetic contributions by a range of guests from guitarists Marcus King and Waddy Watchel, trumpeter Trombone Shorty, the rapper Chali2na and the singer Erica Falls.
