Owner of one of the most fascinating records in auteur music ("If I Could Only Remember My Name", which in 1971 enlightened the minds of many fans of the most noble and engaging staves), David Crosby makes an album of rare beauty in 2021.
"For Free" (whose title is a tribute to his friend Joni Mitchell, author of the song of the same name, originally on the 1970 album "Ladies Of The Canyon" by the Canadian singer-songwriter) confirms David Crosby as a singer of delicate emotions immersed in a very precious sound fabric.
In addition to the signature of Crosby, in other tracks of "For Free" appear some interesting names including his son James Raymond (also producer of the work) and Donald Fagen.
