The compelling mixture of folk, country and soft rock present in the previous Easy Way (March 2019) returns with even more momentum and involvement in the album One Day (February 2022) by the band The Cactus Blossoms.
Anticipated by the single Hey Baby (then placed in the opening of the album), One Day has eleven tracks full of absolute enjoyment, sometimes even bordering on the territories of refined pop.
The Cactus Blossoms revolves around the figures of the brothers Burkum: Page on vocals, acoustic guitar and percussion, Tyler on electric guitar and baritone guitar, Jack Torrey (he adopted this stage name when he faced, as a young man, the musical world) on vocals and guitars.
They were joined by Alex Hall and Jeremy Hanson on drums, Phillip Hicks on bass, Joel Paterson on pedal steel guitar, keyboardist Ray Jaclido and singer and actress Jenny Lewis (respectively in the songs One Day and Everybody).
