Iggy Pop (stage name James Newell Osterberg Jr.) is considered a true precursor of the punk movement thanks above all to his militancy (from 1967 to 1974) in the American formation of Ann Arbor (Washtenaw County, State of Michigan) The Stooges.
His recent album "Every Loser" is a concentrate of pure energy also thanks to the support of artists orbiting in the most solid rock: Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses) on bass, drummer Chad Smith and keyboardist Josh Klinghoffer (both members of Red Hot Chili Peppers), Travis Barker (Blink-182), Dave Navarro, Eric Avery and Chris Chaney (all three members of Jane's Addiction), Taylor Hawkins (drummer of the Foo Fighters formation in one of his last appearances before his death on March 25, 2022).
"Every Loser" is produced by Andrew "Watt" Wotman (member of the band California Breed with Glenn Hughes and Jason Bonham), also present on many of the eleven tracks of the album both as an instrumentalist and as a composer.
