SAWYER BROWN

Desperado Troubadours (2024)

To celebrate forty years in the music industry, the band Sawyer Brown is releasing a new, vibrant album, "Desperado Troubadours", over ten years after their previous album, "Travelin' Band".
The album features ten tracks that reference American country music without being confined to a single genre. It includes straightforward and rollicking rock songs, such as the opening track "Under This Ole Hat" and the playful "Nashville Cat", as well as expansive ballads like the intense "Socrates", "God Bless This Road", and the closing track "Desperado Troubadours".
In addition to Sawyer Brown members Mark Miller (vocals), Gregg (Hobie) Hubbard (keyboards and vocals), Joe "Curly" Smyth (drums), and Shayne Hill (guitar and vocals), "Desperado Troubadours" features contributions from Mac McAnally (guitar, mandolin, and vocals) and Duncan Cameron (slide guitar and vocals). The album boasts production by Blake Shelton, a significant figure for country music enthusiasts.
