Folk music enriched with varied strokes of interesting indie pop has, since its inception, been the musical genre on which the Portland, Oregon, U.S.-based band has focused its artistic efforts.
The 2024 album "As It Ever Was, So It Will Be Again" does not escape these characteristics. With its thirteen songs (all composed by singer Colin Meloy) it confirms the U.S. quintet as a radiant reality of the most lovable rock.
