Joined by Lucinda Williams (on the opening "Protection") and harmonica player Charlie Musselwhite (on "Devilment" and "Come To Find Out"), Canadian guitarist, singer and songwriter Colin James records his excellent 2024 album "Chasing The Sun" at Pinhead Studios in Nashville.
The album's eleven songs are composed by James himself in collaboration with other musicians, except for the aforementioned "Protection" (by Lucinda Gayl Williams), "Devilment" (by Paul Reddick and Colin Linden, the latter also a producer, along with Colin James, on the album) and "Come To Find Out" (by John Hammond). To these should be added "In My Own Dream" composed by Paul Butterfield.
