A former member of Drivin’ n’ Cryin’ and currently part of Jason Isbell’s The 400 Unit, Sadler Vaden has released his second solo album “Anybody Out There?” in 2020, four years after his self-titled debut album.
“Anybody Out There?” features ten tracks tinged in masterful rock and country atmospheres, alternating inspired ballads with hard-edged moments. Singer, guitarist and songwriter Sadler Vaden’s writing is so refined that (in some tracks) it may remind listeners of prestigious works by Tom Petty or John Mellencamp.
This is a highly enjoyable album of no-frills linear rock, played with conviction and passion.
