JAMES MADDOCK
No Time To Cry (2020)
After obtaining a great commercial success with the song "Never A Day", played by his band Wood and featured on the soundtrack for the lucky 2001 film "Serendipity", in 2020, James Maddock published an excellent album which enriches his already valuable discography.
"No time to cry" is a collection of smooth songs with a simple, but never trivial narration, gracefully played by musicians in perfect harmony with the artist. The English artist (born in Leicester in 1962 but living in the United States for many years) belongs to that group of authors who, despite being the authors of refined works, have yet to achieve their great, well-deserved success.
"No time to cry” is produced by Maddock himself, together with Scott Rednor (who also plays the guitar on some of the album’s nine tracks).
